Refunds & Cancellations
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) provides the following principles for a refund policy:
“We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind."
RIVdrive Driver Education will refund 100% of the lesson fee if you are not totally satisfied with the service provided.
Please keep your proof of purchase.
Lessons may be cancelled up to 24 hours prior to lesson commencement via the online booking system or phone.
Cancellations made after 24 hours prior to lesson commencement will forfeit the lesson fee.
For prepaid lessons cancelled within the valid cancellation period, the lesson fee refund will be processed by RIVdrive within 48 hours of notice of cancellation. Note that it may take up to 14 days for the refund to appear in your account.
Under no circumstances will a refund be issued for students who are not available for the booked lesson at the date, time and address detailed within the booking (ie: "no-shows"). RIVdrive reserves the right to invoice students for "no-shows".
